Edward R. Murrows Flips Over in his Grave

LSB: In case you just missed it, moments ago – literally – following a story about the sale of original STAR TREK memorabilia, Katie Couric signed off the CBS Evening News telecast with the Vulcan salute and “Live long and prosper.” What a proud moment for the CBS news team! Can anyone imagine Walter Cronkite doing anything so lame? I’m so glad I was flipping the channel early and didn’t miss it. I was a Katie fan when she was on the TODAY show, but I hope the blogosphere lets this bubblehead have it!
