Carl Levin and Joe Biden appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace yesterday to discuss the situation in Iraq. Who knew Fox would invite two Democrats to speak unopposed? Chris Wallace sets up the familiar Rovian framing that the Democratic plan is playing right into Bin Laden's hands by playing a clip of Cheney. But good ol' Joe was ready for the pitch and knocks it right out of the park.
LSB: I agree with Crooks and Liars on this. Every time a Democrat steps up to a microphone or is put in front of a TV camera they should challenge the interviewer with Biden’s words: Name me one single time Cheney's been correct. In fact, the premise of Wallace’s question should have been challenged as well. What does Bin Laden have to do with Iraq? How many times do we have to prove to FAUX-NEWS that there is no link between Bin Laden and the Civil War in Iraq?
