The Iraq War President has the audacity to say he cares about the value of human life

Yesterday was one of the deadliest days in Iraq for U.S. soldiers. Last year, in Bush's war, 35,000 Iraqis died. The way Bush has conducted that war shows an utter contempt for human life and decency. Yet, in the middle of all this news -- and while Bush is escalating his war, the White House sees nothing ironic about Bush purporting to care about human life. Bob Geiger reports that Bush declared that [Sunday was] "National Sanctity of Life Day." The hypocrisy is mind-numbing – even for Bush.
