Luckovich: Co-Presidency

LSB: Did Bill help or hurt Hillary's campaign in South Carolina? While it is admirable that a spouse would want to help in the campaign and it would be unfair to single out the husband of the first viable female Presidential candidate, Bill went to far in his attacks against the Obama campaign. Lord knows I don't have many positive things to say about George H.W. Bush, but when his son was campaigning '41' stuck to cheerleading and avoided any clashes with the rest of the Republican candidates. I'm sure I wasn't alone in thinking, "If Hillary can't control Bill on the campaign trail, how would she ever control him in the White House?" And let's face it, the last thing we need for the first female President is an Oval-Office-backseat-driver whose ego needs constant stroking. Shut up, Bill, if you expect your wife to win the White House.
