$34,000

$34,000. The amount conservative pundit Armstrong Williams will have to repay of the $240,000 government contract he received for promoting President Bush’s No Child Left Behind agenda. Under a settlement reached with prosecutors, Williams also “admits no wrongdoing.”

NOTE: It seems the conservative pundit who’s taking heat for accepting $240K from the Bush Administration in exchange for hyping the No Child Left Behind program may go on the ‘down low’ from time to time. In 1997, Armstrong Williams was sued by a male employee, Stephen Gregory, for sexual harassment. The suit said Armstrong “grabbed [Gregory’s] buttocks and penis, tried to kiss him, and climbed into his hotel-room bed asking for affection while they were traveling together.” Williams vehemently denies all, but reportedly settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount of cash.

LSB: it appears that Williams is another of the closeted anti-gay group. Seems out and proud would serve these folks a lot better, because “it’s the lies, stupid!”
