LSB: Does John in DC over at AmericaBlog allude to a Denny Hastert gay rumor? Lawrence O’Donnell’s commentary on HuffingtonPost.com also raises some gay questions (and eyebrows) about that. The Internet is rife with wild speculation and rumors about House Speaker Denny Hastert being gay in the past few days. Check here, here, and here. (I'm skeptical about these rumors, but let's see if anything pans out in the next week or so.) BlogActive goes further, listing some gay Congressional representatives and staff members and threatening to “out” others everyday beginning Monday, “with the hopes that those investigating this [Foley] matter will make sure to include them in their questioning.” And Carlson Tucker said this morning on the Chris Matthews' show that "Foley's not the only one who behaved in an inappropriate way with pages - there is at least one other, a heterosexual, and his name, I believe, will come out." If all of this is true, why the MSM isn’t picking up any of this stuff? Are they being cautious, or are the bloggers just ahead of the curve? Hmmm… curiouser and curiouser…

Who is Scott Palmer?
According to Lawrence O'Donnell, Scott Palmer is not only Speaker Dennis Hastert's chief of staff, but he’s also Hastert's roommate.
